Hugo Krupitzki received the M.D. and MhS. degrees from the University of Buenos Aires (UBA). He is a clinical researcher at the National Scientific and Technical Research Council (CONICET) and is currently a Full Professor of Research Methodology , Head of Academic Affairs at the Research Unit and member of the Research Ethics Committee, at CEMIC University. He is also a consultant in perinatal and women health at the Non-Governmental Organization, called ADESAR.His research work is aimed at maternal and perinatal health. Dr. Krupitzki is known for his contributions to the research to evaluate the efficacy and safety of the Odon Device to assist vaginal deliveries (WHO) and he is also a member of the Executive Coordination of the “Advisory commission for the study of the under-registration of maternal deaths” of the National Direction of Maternity and Childhood in Argentina. He also participates in ECLAMC lines of research related to the genetic epidemiology of preterm birth.
